On October 1, 2021, a book titled South-South and Trilateral Cooperation in a Digital World: New Dynamics and New Approaches organized by the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC) was officially released. The book is published by the Social Sciences Academic Press of China. This book is based on the Annual Report on South-South Cooperation 2019-2020 which was co-organized by FCSSC and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), funded by the South-South Education Foundation, and executed by the Six Industrial Research Institute of Fudan University. With a focus on digital technology, this book provides an in-depth analysis of the practical cases in which digital technology has brought about changes in developing countries around the world in terms of agriculture and food cooperation, climate change, natural disaster reduction, digital finance, healthcare, and education, and concludes the paths and methods of digital technology to promote South-South cooperation and international development cooperation, thus further contributing to the sustainable development of developing countries.
For the third consecutive year, FCSSC and UNOSSC have jointly organized domestic and international experts to conduct research and write reports on key issues related to South-South cooperation. In the last two years, the annual reports have focused on the opportunities and challenges of the fourth industrial revolution and digitalization for developing countries worldwide.
