On 9-10 May, 2024, the opening ceremony of the 8th Shenzhen Brand Week hosted by the Shenzhen Federation of Industries was successfully held. This is the fourth year that Finance Centre for South-South Cooperation strongly supports the event. Liu Qianqian, Deputy Director General of FCSSC attended the opening ceremony and other related activities.
The theme of this year is "Exploring the Infinite Future of Brands". Nearly 400 brands such as "Credible Global Brands", "Shenzhen Well-known Brands and Famous Brands in Greater Bay Area" were presented. Brand Finance, which publishes the top 500 global brand values at the World Economic Forum in Davos every year, co-hosted the exclusive release of the list "Top 500 Brand Values in China 2024" in both English and Chinese. A total of 118 brands in Greater Bay Area made the list. The performances of leading brands such as Ping An, wechat and Huawei were still outstanding.
There were representatives from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, China Federation of Industrial Economics, Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality also attended the event.
