From June 6 to 7, 2023, the "2023 China Social Responsibility Investment Summit Forum (IFCII): Innovation-driven, collaborative integration" was held in Shanghai. Dr. Wu Zhong, Director General of FCSSC, attended and spoke at the forum.
The forum was hosted by the China Institute for Inclusive Finance (CAFI), co-hosted by CBN Research Institute and Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and co-organized by Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank. The theme of the forum this year focuses on cutting-edge topics such as hybrid finance, just transition, and financial health. It also focuses on the role and actions of enterprises in the context of sustainable development, and how socially responsible investment can better serve rural revitalization.
Dr. Wu, DG of FCSSC, made an important statement at the thematic section of "Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility" . He emphasized that impact investing should come from the inner initiative of investors, and it needs a mechanism for investors to do this, and today's digital technology makes this mechanism possible.
Before that, as a member of the Committee, Dr. Wu was invited to attend the closed-door committee meeting of the China Social Investment Summit Forum and delivered a speech.
During the 2-day Forum, Mr. Xiao Guiyu, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Ning Jizhe, Vice Chairman of the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, Tu Guangshao, Executive Director of Shanghai Jiaotong University Gaojin, Jiang Jianqing, former Chairman of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Li Xiaojia, Chairman of Micro Connect attended the forum and delivered speeches. In addition, more than 70 experts, scholars and representatives from the prive sector attended and spoke at the summit forum.
