FCSSC Director General Wu Zhong attended the 4th Impact Investing Roundtable - “Prospects for Impact Investing in the Post-Pandemic Era”

On July 15, 2021, Wu Zhong, Director General of the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC), was invited to attend the 4th Impact Investing Roundtable - “Prospects for Impact Investing in the Post-Pandemic Era” in Shanghai and moderated a discussion session on the theme of “how to achieve corporate development and investment returns on the ESG path”. Organized by the Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion and hosted by the Hong Kong Tian Tian Xiang Shang Investment Fund, the roundtable aimed to share and exchange experiences on the development of international impact investment in the context of the current pandemic, and the development path and practical cases of impact investment in China.


 During the roundtable, Director General Wu Zhong also introduced and shared the status and preliminary results of the research topics on impact investing organized and conducted by FCSSC. 


In addition, the roundtable also welcomed representatives from more than 30 institutions, including International Finance Corporation (IFC), China Merchants Securities, Huaxia Finance Company Limited, TPG, Ford Foundation, IPC Germany, Asia Green Fund, Vital Grass, Zuoli Kechuang Micro-finance Company Limited, and Chongho Bridge.
