Director General of FCSSC, Wu Zhong, attended the online seminar of “China-ASEAN Knowledge Network for Development”

On October 18, 2021, Mr. Wu Zhong, Director General of the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC), attended the online seminar of “China-ASEAN Knowledge Network for Development” organized by the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). Mr. Gong Sen, Director-General of the International Cooperation Department of the DRC, chaired the seminar. Sixteen delegates from trusted research institutions of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia and Laos, and international institutions including Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Health Organization (WHO) discussed and shared their views on strengthening the China-ASEAN development knowledge cooperation. 


During the seminar, Director General Wu Zhong explained in depth the necessity of establishing the “China-ASEAN Knowledge Network for Development” and made several suggestions on its feasibility. 


The “China-ASEAN Knowledge Network for Development” was included in the list of recommendations made by the Chinese government in the special summit to commemorate the 30th anniversary of China-ASEAN dialogue relations.
