"China-ASEAN Digital Economy Seminar" jointly organized by FCSSC was successfully opened at Zhejiang University

On August 14, 2023, the "China-ASEAN Digital Economy Seminar" jointly organized by FCSSC and the International Development and Governance Research Center of Zhejiang University was successfully opened at the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University. Dr. Wu Zhong, DG of FCSSC, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Prof. He Lianzhen, Vice President of Zhejiang University, Prof. Huang Xianhai, Vice President of Zhejiang University, and Mr. Li Min, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology attended the opening ceremony. Prof. Gong Sen, Director of the Center for International Development and Governance (CISDG) of Zhejiang (Zhejiang University), moderated the opening ceremony. 

In his opening remark, Dr. Wu Zhong pointed out that the digital economy has brought new development opportunities to developing countries. He  hoped to take this seminar as an opportunity to build a new bridge for cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. 

This seminar aims to help participants understand the development status and construction experience of China's digital economy, digital trade, digital government affairs and governance, digital finance, intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet, enhance their professional knowledge in digital economy and other fields, and generate substantive help for future work.

More than 50 officials, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs from ASEAN member countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar attended the seminar.
