FCSSC Memorandum of Understanding With Development Research Center of the State Council of PRC

On 23 August, 2015, the Finance Center for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC) signed a memorandum of understanding(MoU) with the Development Research Center of the State Council of People's Republic of China(DRC) to promote cooperation and communication on areas related to "One Belt, One Road" initiative and South-South Cooperation. The MOU was signed by Dr. Wu Zhong, the Vice-President and Director-General of FCSSC, Dr. Cheng Guo-Qiang, director of International Cooperation Department of DRC. "We hope to strengthen the cooperation between both parties, to fully utilized the function of the South-South Asia-Pacific Finance Center as a cooperative platform, to jointly promote the successful development experiences of China, and to assist Chinese enterprises to participate in South-South Cooperation", Minister of DRC Dr. Li Wei said. Chairman Cai E-Sheng expressed that signing the MOU with DRC is a bright start for the cooperation between FCSSC and DRC. FCSSC will be fully committed to carry out the MoU. The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) is a policy research and consulting institution directly under the State Council, the central government of the People's Republic of China. Its major function is to conduct advanced research on the overall, comprehensive, strategic and long-term issues in the economic and social development, as well as relevant key and hot problems related to reform and opening up and provide policy options and consulting advice to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.
